We ordered the 3 tier afternoon set which costed $298 ($327.8 with 10% service charge). Most restaurants charge at least $200 per person for afternoon tea so this is honestly relatively cheap, exactly the reason why I visited haha. Drinks are also included. The presentation was absolutely stunning, as well as the restaurant itself. I especially enjoyed the opera cake as well as the scones. The opera cake was just absolutely delicious. The scones were beautifully made, not too moist, not too crum
Now about their service... you would think that this place is kinda fancy and fine dining, hence the service should be very good. Hmmmm it’s not. Firstly, the waiter didn’t especially welcome us in the most friendliest way, I feel as if he is quite sick of this job? I then asked the waiter “can my friend and I sit near the window seat”. He answered “yes” and took us literally no where near the window seat. Next, they took our drink orders wrong and served us with the wrong drink (we didn’t complain tho haha). All in all, this was not the most excellent customer service and I’m quite disappointed. It may be because we were teens but I don’t know.
I guess the food kinda made up for the bad service.
Side note: the waiters speak in English only.
