I've been a frequent customer of both the Sai Kung location and the Central location for a few months now.

Pros:

1. The pizza is usually pretty good. Lots of cheese, lots of tomato sauce, the amount of toppings on each slice of pizza are usually generous, and the portion-size of each slice of pizza is big.

2. That said, for such a huge portion-size, the price is really reasonable. About 30 HKD for a single slice with one topping.

3. The "Beer Set" is awesome. For 50 HKD, you can get a draft pint of either Carlsberg or Asahi, and a single slice with one topping. Good value as far as food quality / restaurant prices go.

4. The amount of time between ordering and receiving food is usually pretty quick.

Cons:

1. The quality can be variable between the pizzas / pastas, and between the Sai Kung location and the Central location.

To expand: the pizza is usually done quite well, with a good amount of cheese, tomato sauce, and toppings allocated on each slice. However, sometimes the pizza is 50% dough, which is a bit of a turn-off. (If I wanted to eat mouthfuls of bland bread, I'd go to one of the 1000+ bakeries down the street...)

That said, the pizza is usually fine. The real problem, however, is with the pasta: the kitchen staff in the back simply refuse to add more than a small dollop of tomato sauce to any pasta dish or lasagna. It's similar to eating a dry bowl of noodles. Very disappointing. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single time when I've ordered pasta from the Sai Kung location (+6 times), I've had to send it back and ask for more tomato sauce.

That said, this problem is only a problem for the Sai Kung location. The Central location really knows how to make good pasta / lasagna. My girlfriend and I have ordered pasta at the Central location at least a dozen times, and every time the pasta is done perfectly and has a generous amount of sauce. I think the owner needs to crack down on the Sai Kung location a bit.

2. The Sai Kung location has a lady working the register who will not stop talking to me. No joke. When I used to go to the Sai Kung location, I was bombarded with conversation from this chick, and I seriously couldn't get a moment's peace while she wasn't physically at the register taking other customers' orders.

3. Snotty expat customers. You'll find lots of them here, and sometimes they're cool, but other times they're completely lost and take 10 minutes to order a slice of pizza and a beer. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but unfortunately it's quite common that you're standing in line behind many, many of these people!

Hope this helps.
