My friend took me to this restaurant tonight. I didn't know there's a place like this in Mong Kok. The atmosphere of the place is quite okay but tonight, a big group of people booked the venue, it was quite noisy since they were singing karaoke and going in and out. Anyway, let's talk about the food.We ordered the set dinner for two. The mushroom soup arrived first, it was creamy and had lots of mushroom and broccoli crumb. We ordered the set dinner for two. The mushroom soup arrived first, it was creamy and had lots of mushroom and broccoli crumb. The tomato seasame salad tasted alright but I think two slices of tomato is not enough.
The meat ball twins tasted like bolognese meat ball. They were tasty and soft. I like to eat it with the potato mash.
The garlic butter chicken wings were a bit burnt but still tasted alright. Maybe because I like garlic so I thought it was very nice.
The drink finally came; Tequila sunrise was quite fruity and the Hoegaarden was in a massive glass.
The fried halibut with lemon butter sauce was okay. It was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It had a strong butter flavour which I like. I think the potato mash was tasteless, maybe a bit of salt with be better.
I like the black truffle and shrimp braise rice, the shrimps were big and yummy. The rice was full of black truffle flavour and creamy. There were also lots of mushroom and onion with the rice.
