Had lunch here with family today. This has been our "go to" for Korean since Arirang moved out of CWB.

Food-wise, this is pretty typical of what you get at any higher end Korean place in HK, but I like the atmosphere here a bit better. Service is reasonably attentive and efficient. Like most other Korean restaurants here, they are slow to refill the side dishes.

On this trip we had:

1 - Yookgehjang. Spicy beef stew. This was my Korean father in law's favorite when he visited us in the past and it was as good as ever. My wife or I will almost certainly get this again next time. It is a must if you like things a bit spicy.

2 - Sulungtang. This is a beef noodle soup in sort of a mild broth. My wife ordered this and it was fine, nothing to write home about. When we go to Korea we get this at a specialty shop that basically only does this... like Vietnamese Pho, I think this is deceptively difficult to get right because of all the time that goes into making the broth. I thought they did a reasonable enough job if you go in with low expectations (the generally mediocre standard of Korean cuisine in HK, not a specialty shop, etc.).

3 - Potato Pancake. I like this here. Crisp on the outside and a bit chewy. It is a simple dish, but a good balance to the two soups and side dishes.

Side dishes were pretty standard fare. 2-3 kimchi, some veggies, seaweed and others. It is probably as authentic as this gets in HK, though a few places I have been had some more adventuresome choices (raw oyster, etc.). I will give extra points for not serving potato salad.
