This place has come into fashion this year and seemed worth a try. There is a long wait but the staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient, and have a clever technique to get you to order drinks while waiting. The famous items are the baos and we tried pork belly, spicy chicken and veg. The taste of the pork belly bao was excellent, with complementary tasting fatty pork and sauce and was without a doubt the best dish. The spicy fried chicken was good but somewhat nondescript and the veg was just OK. We also had dumplings which were Chinese-Western fusion and tasted good - however a lot of local dumpling places do them better.

Although this restaurant is gentrification and therefore expensive, the prices are  too high for what you get. $78 for a bao seems OK on the surface but it's no-where near enough for a meal and the sides, for example $128 for four dumplings, are hard to stomach. Although it's worth to try the pork belly bao once, I didn't walk away really understanding the hype.
