best friend's belated birthday dinner. as she preferred to have western food, so i suggested here.i was late that nite and i found we're located a windown seat, which i quite liked it and good for girls talk. but then we suddenly saw a tiny "siu keung" walking around the table, we immediately yelled for the waiter to come. honestly it never crossed my mind about the hygiene of the restaurtna, i thought it's just passing by.. haha. so we simply moved to another table instead.we ordered...- baked
i was late that nite and i found we're located a windown seat, which i quite liked it and good for girls talk. but then we suddenly saw a tiny "siu keung" walking around the table, we immediately yelled for the waiter to come. honestly it never crossed my mind about the hygiene of the restaurtna, i thought it's just passing by.. haha. so we simply moved to another table instead.
we ordered...
- baked onion (i would say, by far the best i've tasted. the melted cheese and the bread still cruchy.. yumm)
- warm avocado and crab meat salad (quite nice)
- duck a la orange (i didn't try it but my best friend said it's good. juicy meant with fragrance of orange)
- ribeye steak (sadly it's overdone, and a bit dried which i was quite disappointed. later the manager said the waitress had mistaken "medium rare" as "medium done")
- jimmy's traditional satellite (fried ice-cream, it's free as the manager apology for "siu keung" and cooked steak)
we also ordered 1 house red, 1 house white and 1 earl grey tea with lemon.
the ambient is nice and i like those old managers and waiters. they've been very polite, nice and somehow give me granny feel.. hehe.
though the steak was overdone, but i dont' mind to give this resturant another chance and go again.
