It was the end of the week so my wife and I decided to blow the rest of our food budget on this French place. We got: escargot, French onion soup, duck leg confit, a lamb shank, and a bottle of the house red.The escargot were as they ought to be: piping hot, super buttery, crispy on the outside and melt-in-your mouth tender on the inside. 8/10The French onion soup was straightforward but still very good. 7/10My wife got the lamb shank. My wife got the lamb shank. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and it came with mashed potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and sugar snap peas. She gives it an 8/10
I got the duck leg. It was amazing. Delicious, juicy, tender. Literally the best duck I have ever had. 10/10
The house red was a Merlot. I truly despise Merlot, but I suppose it was drinkable for what it was. 6/10
I strongly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and upscale, but still casual enough to wear a T-shirt. With everything we ordered I think we paid something like $650. 8/10
