Made a last minute reservation today for a 7:30pm dinner for two people. Arrived slightly late but our table was held. The restaurant was around 70% occupied and generally had a quiet atmosphere. It was also our first time dining at this restaurant, but heard some good reviews on this place so we were kept in high hopes. As a starter, we ordered the Avocado & Crabmeat Salad, a dish that we were recommended by a few others. This did not disappoint as the crispy biscuits (?) and the avocado dressing mix was well blended. While we thought the Avocado dressing could have been slightly less creamy, the overall taste with the fried biscuits was very pleasing.
Then came the Sashimi Platter. Well-decorated dish with around 6~7 different types of high-quality and fresh Sashimi. All of them literally melted in our mouth... very good choice albeit a slightly steep price. We also ordered a sushi platter which used a special rice that went well with the toppings. Next came the Ronin Roll and the Oyster which I highly recommend people to try. i typically opt to stuff these kind of sushis or rolls in one gobble for the sake of tasting all the parts at one go, but the Ronin roll felt slightly big for one bite.
Overall, it was a very good choice for a Sunday dinnet and well-worth the money spent. Planning to return here to try more dishes soon!
