There are tons of hot pot places to choose from in Tai Kok Tsui, so why 财记? Answer is simple: Great food, excellent service, and friendly atmosphere!! There were a lot of creative soup bases to pick from but we decided to stick to the regular pork bone soup base so that it won't overwhelm the freshness of seafood. As the restaurant prides itself with their seafood dishes, we ordered quite a selection to try!! Highly recommended to try the shrimps which were super fresh and large!

The clams were humongous too! Almost the size of my palm!
Stir-fried with green unions and cooked in Japanese sake, the clams were so delicious!

We also ordered the Hiroshima oysters which were large and juicy!
Besides seafood, the "fried beancurd bell"(响铃) was crispy and not oily at all!
The premium beef dish was nicely displayed and yummy.
The best part was that we could chill and eat while waiting for the FIFA soccer game to start!! The place was packed with loud men and women screaming and singing during the FIFA match! Though the tv screen weren't very large (contrary to their seafood size ) .. I really enjoyed the noisy atmosphere! Impressive service throughout the meal with frequent change of plates and refill of soup! Planning for a re-visit for the semi finals with friends!!
