I had the Fig Roselle Hibiscus Tea. I really liked this drink. It was the right amount of sweetness with a good balance of sour from the hibiscus. Very refreshing.
Boyfriend had a cappuccino. The coffee was ok. Not too strong with nice amount of foam.
The daily pasta was carbonara. This surprised me as I usually find many cafes do terrible carbonara. This was good with a strong cheesey taste. I love the heaping pile of pancetta. The portion was also quite a lot for a starter.
For the main I decided on the 13 Hours Sous Vide Beef Cheek ($148). There was a generous portion of creamy mashed potato combined with a wonderful amount of rich sauce. The beef cheeks literally melted in my mouth. It was that soft and tender.
Boyfriend had the Sous Vide Pork Chop with Spanish Potato ($138). The pork chop was moist and tender that was layered with a sweet fruity sauce. The potato had a sweet savory kick to it.
Food was quite decent with generous portions. Most surprising is they offer you a pasta as a starter when most consier it a main. That is a lot of food. Excellent value for money.
