Xinomavro would sometimes be compared to Nebbiolo or Pinot Noir, yet Its aromas are quite unique, presenting red fruit and vegetal aromas of tomato and olive; as well as being rich in phenols with powerful tannins due to its high acidity.
This flagship wine Kir Yianni Diaporos (ΔΙΑΠΟΡΟΣ) 2016 is a blend of Single Vineyard Xinomavro and Syrah, extruding notes of cherry, rose, and dried tomatoes, along with a mouthfeel tannin; and with an age-ability of 20 years!
