Taste of these definitely did not disappoint either, I was impressed by the contrasting textures in the dumplings and the seasoning was on point. — Another very cute looking dumpling with very interesting flavours! Incorporating salted lemon and cinnamon, these dumplings had a unique aroma and taste to them and complimented the fish really well. Really worth a try as the combination is hard to find!
Pic 3️⃣: 黑松露竹笙上素饺 / Vegetable Dumplings, Bamboo Pith, Black Truffle - $90 hkd
— Black truffle aroma was strong, and I loved the crunchy texture coming from the vegetables.
Pic 4️⃣: 凤城五彩炒鱼面 / Stir-Fried Fish Noodles, Dried Sole Fish, Bean Sprout, Mushroom - $280
— This was a highly recommended dish from the waiter so we had to try it out! The fish noodles were incredibly springy and had a nice chew to them, not to mention they really tasted of fish. The dried sole fish topping further enhanced the rich flavours of the dish. Personally thought it could’ve done with a bit more savouriness but overall really nice.
Pic 5️⃣: 鲜梅头叉烧肠粉 / Steamed Barbecued Pork Rice Rolls - $100 hkd
— A classic must order. Rice rolls were nice and thin and the pork was super tender and tasty. Soy sauce was a bit watered down though.
Pic 6️⃣: 大良炸鲜奶 / Deep-Fried Milk, Daliang Style - $90 hkd 🥛
— Super good. The milk taste was really strong and not overly sweet. The exterior was super light and crispy whilst the filling was so creamy.
Pic 7️⃣: 雪山和牛餐包 / Wagyu Beef Buns, Black Pepper - $90 hkd
— Decent, filling was a bit too saucy and salty for me though.
Pic 8️⃣: 顺德伦教糕 / White Sugar Puddings - $90 hkd
— Really wanted to enjoy this but simply wasn’t up my alley. Loved the texture and the mellow flavours though.
Pic 9️⃣: 南翔灌汤小笼包 / Pork Dumplings, Supreme Broth - $90 hkd
— The skin was too thick but the pork filling was super tasty. Broth was quite rich and flavourful too.
Pic 🔟: 香滑芝麻卷 / Black Sesame Rolls - $80 hkd
— Rare find these days! The black sesame taste was strong and the rolls had a nice smooth texture to them.
