Various healthy eating trends are always around. And one of these trends is something called a juice clense. There are several places in Hong Kong that offer this and one such place is Nood Food. Though I haven't embarked on the juice clense of yet, I've often passed by these juice places and bought the odd bottle just to quench my thirst.Nood Food is brought to you by Pure, a huge fitness company in Hong Kong. Nood Food is brought to you by Pure, a huge fitness company in Hong Kong. Being a member of their yoga line, I see their juices and snacks sold at my gym. So, when I went to renew my contract, Pure gave me a $50 voucher to use at Nood Food. I used this to buy a juice at their Soho branch as I was in the area.
The Soho branch is very big with seating. They have a wide range of juices and snacks, sandwiches and assorted salads. All healthy. All good for you. Though as a Pure member, you can get discounts at their other restaurants they own, you don't get a discount at Nood Food.
This is Berry Bloom. This juice cost me $65 but as I had a $50 coupon, I paid $15. It was listed under the "Energize Me" category. Did I feel energized afterwards? I'm unsure. The listed ingredients were acai, apple, chia seeds, cucumber, lemon, pink himalayan salt and strawberries. Taste wise? A slightly tart taste with a slight taste of salt. But after awhile, my mouth just tasted like I had drank nothing but cucumber. I'm unsure how I feel about this drink. Do I feel healthier? I don't know. Did I feel refreshed? Not really. Energized? Unsure. Maybe pscyhologically, yes? Did it taste good? It wasn't bad but I don't know if I would choose it again.
For $65, this was a fairly hefty price for a bottle of juice that didn't taste all that fantastic. For this same price, I think I had a better tasting bottle of juice at Genie Juicery.
