A big part of staying healthy is, of course, eating healthy. Miss Lee is a vegetarian restaurant that promotes delicious, well balanced dishes and they’re now offering a new tea set, aptly named “Lets Partea”. The set includes 5 items!1. Beetroot Tart with Vegan Curry Mayo - there aren’t many places that serve vegan mayo! This tart has a crispy exterior, and the inside is a mixture between sweet and sour.2. 1. Beetroot Tart with Vegan Curry Mayo - there aren’t many places that serve vegan mayo! This tart has a crispy exterior, and the inside is a mixture between sweet and sour.
2. Mushroom Steamed Bun with BBQ sauce - apart from just mushrooms, there are also vegetable strands to give it a crunchy texture.
3. Fried Bean Curd with Vegan Sesame Dressing - this was perhaps my favourite out of the 5. The sesame dressing was plenty fragrant and the fried bean curd soaked up all that flavour.
4. Mashed Potato with Glutinous Rice Foam - this was definitely the most creative of all the choices. It was presented kind of like congee, but instead of rice, the bottom part is mashed potato. However, the texture and taste was definitely reminiscent of congee, and there’s even some crispies on top to add to the texture.
5. Purple rice coconut udon with mango - essentially this is like mango sticky rice and it was a sweet ending to the tea set.
We also ordered the Yama Fries, which came with fragrant truffle sauce at the bottom of the bowl, as well as mayo, which is every foodie’s dream come true. Instead of potato, they use yam, which surprisingly still tastes a lot like potatoes but softer.
We then had the Flower Bouquet, which was a crepe-like roll, with vegetables inside, giving it a healthier and refreshing taste.
Lastly, to complete the meal, we had some healthy drinks to go with it. Personally I really enjoyed the beetroot juice, as it was appropriately sweet and appetising.
