Tonight I took my friend to knockbox coffee company for a coffee but we ended up having dinner. After looking at the menu, my friend decided to get beer instead of coffee. Hahahahahaha....... She got the "mountain goat organic steam ale". My friend found it quite sweet because it also contains lemon and honey. The smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel arrived first, the bagel is actually quite big so it was a good idea to share with a friend. The lettuce and tomato was fresh and crispy. The smoked salmon was very tasty, they added some pepper and lemon juicy on it which lift up the flavour. The cream cheese was smooth and creamy, I wish they spread more cream cheese on the bagel because it tasted so good. If the bagel was toasted, it will taste even better.
Fried chicken came next, there were five pieces of big chicken. They smell so good when they arrived, we could see lots of different herbs on the coating. The coating wasn't that thick compare to the other shops, the coating was crunchy and full of flavour. The chicken was tender and super juicy. I love that they gave us lots of chicken wings, they were my favourite.
To finish off our meal, we ordered a dessert. The citrus delight took around 10 minutes so make sure you order early. The presentation of it was just fantastic! We were amazed because they made the waffle in coffee bean shape, they were so cute. The waffle itself had a splash of lemon flavour as well. The staff taught us to dip the waffle with the ice cream and then honey and aromatics espresso. Wow, it was such a good combination, the waffle tasted so good. My friend said her waffle tasted like "red bean" after doing all the steps. Hahahahahaha..... I could taste sweet and bitter at the same time. The ice cream was very smooth and milky, we really like it. The espresso was quite strong but after the waffle absorb it, it was alright. I really recommend this dessert.
My Affogato came last, it looked delicious. It is basically ice cream with espresso. Again, we were overwhelmed with the ice cream, the ice cream was so yummy. It was so smooth!!!!!! We scoped the ice cream and dipped it into the espresso, it tasted so good. The espresso wasn't so strong after mixing with the ice cream so we managed to finish it.
