It’s been quite a while since last time. I am happy that I went because their food quality improved from the last time I tried! Here are the dishes that I recommend:1. It’s been quite a while since last time. I am happy that I went because their food quality improved from the last time I tried! Here are the dishes that I recommend:

1. Steamed seafood dumplings in Chilli Oil

This is a fusion of one of the famous dishes in Sichuan, China. They’ve added their little trick in this dish. Other than pork and shrimp, they’ve also put some crispy water chestnuts inside, making an interesting texture. As you can see, the little ball shape is definitely different from the traditional dumplings. And I can imagine that the authentic one is much more spicier than this one.

2. Xioa Long Bao

Yup, and this is the famous little soup bun originated from Shanghai. This is my must order dish every time. And it didn’t disappoint me. The skin is so thin, but you don’t have to worry about breaking it at all. The tiny hole on top allows me to slowly taste the soup inside without burning my tongue also. Definitely a bonus.

3. Deep fried glutinous puff with water chestnut

These are too cute to not mention, right? Though they look very similar to the traditional fried sesame balls (usually bigger in size), they have taro and water chestnut paste inside, which is a new try for me. They are very tiny in size, so don’t worry if you are full. Though we always have another stomach for desserts anyway

這次是中午時間去的,所以集中試了他們的點心。雖然變化不大,但東西確實比以前好吃和精緻。不過對上一次來,已經過了年幾了。以下是小編覺得特別和值得嘗試的小點:

1. 紅油海鮮果

紅油抄手乃是中國四川的名菜,不過他們稍微混合了自己的創意,就成了這道菜。紅紅的仍是紅油,不過那一顆顆圓球裡面的並不完全是傳統餛飩的材料。裡面除了豬肉和蝦肉,還加了香脆的馬蹄,挺特別的。

2. 小籠包

這個是每次來都必須點的點心。不過這一次有驚喜喔,小籠包比以前好吃很多。每個人吃小籠包時,擔心的不外乎就是弄穿外皮浪費湯汁和怕燙舌頭吧。這包子雖然皮薄,但完全不易弄破,還可以從包子上的小洞吸飲湯汁。

3. 芋薺餅

雖然菜單上沒有了小編每次來必點的紫米餅,但有甜品才是完美的一餐對吧哈哈。這個甜品雖然外型與煎堆略有所同,但是裡面的餡料卻用了芋頭和馬蹄。小小個子,也不怕膩。
