Popped in for dinner after a workout and was not disappointed. Lung Kee is a classic, competent HK canteen with a full menu worth exploring. What really brought me inside as I was walking by was the fact that they had dinner sets. It’s not the cheapest I’ve ever had, but I found the portion to be generous and the quality is there, at least for my dish. One thing to note is that the dinner set menu is only in Chinese and displayed in the TV. I was pleasantly surprised that one of the staff members started deciphering the menu for me while I was trying to read it myself. This I found quite welcoming.
I noticed a lot of people eating a lot of different things on the menu, so I’m looking forward to working my way through the different dishes if I come back. At any rate, I’d definitely recommend it.
