Hojicha Latte1. Twenty One from Eight, which I interpret as 29 and also my current age, is a combination of carpenter workshop, furniture store and cafe hidden in an industrial building in Kwun Tong. You might think that this combination would mean a noisy and dusty environment for enjoying a cup of coffee. But the carpenter workshop is separated from the furniture store cum coffee shop with good sound proof system, and the designers furniture actually touch up the cozy vibes of the coffee shop.

1. Twenty One from Eight, which I interpret as 29 and also my current age, is a combination of carpenter workshop, furniture store and cafe hidden in an industrial building in Kwun Tong. 2. A round of applause for Twenty One from Eight for serving the coffee with syrup in a separate tiny jar! Being able to adjust the sweetness of coffee is very crucial for me to enjoy a cup of nice coffee. I always opt for no syrup for health sake, as well as not wanting a sugary-syrup like coffee.
3. It’s probably the best hojicha latte in town, with its thick texture and strong hojicha flavour, very enjoyable!
4. It wasn’t really a big cup, I would want more of this amazing hojicha latte.
5. If I visit again, which is very likely, I would love to try their matcha latte too.

Gluten-free Smoke Salmon Quinoa Cake
1. I have been eyeing these lovely quinoa cakes for quite some time, and finally got to try them. They taste as good as they look, and most importantly, they are gluten free!
2. Generous amount of smoked salmon on top of the quinoa cakes, which you can eat in two ways, eat it on its own, or as topping of the quinoa cakes.
3. The quinoa cakes are simply delicious! I wonder what they use to make the cake mix other than quinoa. I would definitely love to replicate it at home!
4. On top of the quinoa cakes underneath the salmon and on the sides are thick brownish paste which I guess is hummus, so tasty!
5. Orange sauce and dried orange pieces on the side give an interesting and novel touch up to the taste of the dish!
