We’re here at the cozy Uchi Coffee to try out their home cooked Japanese dishes in a warm, welcoming atmosphere 🇯🇵🍃Pic 2️⃣: 酱油蛋汉堡 / 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 𝐰/ 𝐒𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐠𝐠 - $52 hkd 🍳🐄 — The hamburger steak was well marinated and seasoned. — Delicious side dish! The mochi was chewy and adequately filled with a rich, creamy cheese filling that was so tasty. The drizzle of teriyaki sauce on top added a slight sweetness to contrast with the savoury flavours of the cheese.

— The fish was flavourful and fragrant, with a rich miso taste to it. The meat was moist, flaky and soft too.

— Hard to go wrong with and the mentaiko was savoury with a distinct umami flavour to it.

— Great accompaniment with the hamburg steak and pretty flavourful too!

— A unique flavour combination so we had to try this out! The waffle was chewy but a bit dry. The poached pears had a subtle wine aroma to it that was nicely complemented by the sweetness of the lychee.
Pic 8️⃣: 紫色地瓜舒芙蕾 / 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐘𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 - $60 hkd 🍠
— Super satisfying to look at and tasted great too! The purple yam flavour was aromatic and pretty strong. The soufflé itself was light, airy and not overly sweet.
