horrible dinner

Had a horrible dining experience at Frites. I've been a regular customer of the franchise and I have to say we won't be returning. I ordered the seafood pasta and there was something in it that couldn't even be chewed.  I spit it out and turned out it was a little ball, with the size of a coin, made from thread or fur, something unrecognizable but definitely non-edible. It was so gross. Later on, we saw a tiny little shadow flashing by. It was a cockroach! We asked the waitress to get rid of it

Had a horrible dining experience at Frites. I've been a regular customer of the franchise and I have to say we won't be returning. I ordered the seafood pasta and there was something in it that couldn't even be chewed.  I spit it out and turned out it was a little ball, with the size of a coin, made from thread or fur, something unrecognizable but definitely non-edible. It was so gross. Later on, we saw a tiny little shadow flashing by. It was a cockroach! We asked the waitress to get rid of it and she only slightly mentioned "sorry", and that was it! No sincere apology, no follow-up service. And we even had to ask them to come again and clean the table for us. Horrible experience. Would not return and would not recommend this place to others (which I've done so many times before). This incident reflects their ignorant service and extremely poor hygiene. Such a horrible dining experience and a big disappointment!
