I've never been to Sevva but have heard a lot about it.. From the cakes to the cocktails and obviously, the view!So I came for high tea with high expectations! The view was quite nice, especially in the middle of Central amongst all the buildings!The food, however, was subpar. For a 720+10% service charge, I was expecting either quality or quantity. Which they didn't deliver in either aspect The best from the savory would be the sliders.. Everything else was generic and mediocre, just acceptable

The best from the savory would be the sliders.. Everything else was generic and mediocre, just acceptable. The two rolls on the second level were sandwiches.. That was the worst since the bread was dry and the salty cheese was too overpowering
For the sweet, the best was the strawberry dipped in chocolate (because the strawberry was good) everything else was lathered in overly sweet cream, or simply artificially decorated for the camera to savor.. Instead of, well, me.
But the most disappointing thing I would say, is the service. For HKD720 + service charge, I would expect the service to match up. It is comparatively expensive for a high tea set for 2, NOT including alcoholic beverage/champagne. The waiters were rude and condescending. Just as we finished up with the last dessert, a waiter came over with the bill and told us we could only stay for another 20 mins precisely.
I got a genuine Hong Kong service.. From that I meant cha chan teng service e.g. Australian dairy company!
Would never even consider recommending this place.. The view is nice but there are many other options in Central with the view which offers far better food, service and the whole package.
Utterly Disappointed.
