This is the first time I have been to this restaurant and I thought I should give it a try when I saw the amount of people walking in during afternoon tea time. I walked into the restaurant with my family for afternoon dim sum tea and we are shocked to find no proper queuing system in this restaurant. Dinners are not directed by the restaurant staffs to their tables and it feels chaotic. It's a "who walks faster to empty table first will get that table" mentality. We were in shock as when our li
Bad start for an experience here. Next, we begin to order the dim sums from the restaurant pushcarts. We wanted to try something new for dim sum and noticed an interesting dish on a pushcart. We asked the staff manning the pushcart for more details about the dish and she does not know what the dish contains. A bad experience with an ill knowledged staff. The food overall tastes ok, but the service provided by the staff can be very much improved.
When the time comes to foot the bill of HKD153, I handed over HKD200 and waited patiently for my change. After waiting for 15mins and still, the staff did not return with my change. I decided to approach the cashier and enquire about my bill. The cashier replied that my bill has been closed and my change has been given. I was in shock again. How can the staff(waitress who collected my bill) assume that i wanted to give all my change as tips to her? How can she make a decision for the customer without their consent?
Also, how come no staff approached me (while I was waiting for my bill) to inform me that my bill has been settled and that I am free to leave? I wasted another 15mins on poor staff service. Lastly, the main reason I waited that long for the staff to return is because I wanted to see from the receipt, the names of all the dishes I had ordered. I asked for a duplicate copy of the bill but the cashier said that the bill has been closed and it is impossible to reprint a duplicate copy. A very very bad answer for bad customer service recovery.
I won't be patronizing this place again and won't recommend this place to all the food bloggers on open rice.
