Situated in LL Tower 3/F, Kinship was recommended to me some time ago - a very hospitable venue for any celebrations.
The starters are really one of a kind - Steak Tartare is a great appetiser and the crackers that come with it are definitely a nice touch added to the dish; as for Charred Octopus (a recommendation I take from the guest sit next to me), it tastes quite spicy and garlicky due to the roasted garlic aioli, and the octopus is quite soft and easy to chew but not in a stale way. Quite remarkable overall.
Sorry to say, but the Duck Char Siu is a pass for me for my personal liking - it tastes like typical Chinese Char Siu but with a different kind of meat - duck breast, and the piece I have is a bit stringy, sadly. Anyhow, I am looking forward to trying some other main courses in my next visit!
