I recently revisited a restaurant in January 2024 after my first visit in November 2023. This time, I decided to try three different set lunches: "HOMEMADE FETTUCCINE, SAUSAGE, CHORIZO, BURRATA," "GORGONZOLA RISOTTO, PEAR," and "HOMEMADE TAGLIOLINI, CARBONARA." In comparison to my previous experience, the risotto this time was even better, with a more balanced sauce ratio. The GORGONZOLA RISOTTO with pear had a delightful combination of flavors. The HOMEMADE TAGLIOLINI CARBONARA stood out with its rich Guanciale oil fragrance.
However, the service this time was a stark contrast to my previous visit. The staff lacked smiles and failed to provide any introductions when serving the dishes. Unfortunately, I also encountered a mistake by one of the servers. While clearing the table, he accidentally dropped some dirty utensils onto my coat, which was placed on the chair next to me. He didn't say anything but quickly cleaned my coat with paper towels from the table.
Considering the service mishaps and the overall decline in experience, I don't think I'll be returning to the restaurant anytime soon. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the excellent experience I had during my visit in November.
