Ice pop Nitrogen ice-creamI think most of you have already tried out nitrogen ice-cream. Usually I eat it in lab made. this time I tired out Ice-pop. unlike the other shop, there are seats where you can settle down and enjoy your ice-cream with friends.unusal taste is always the selling point of nitrogen ice-cream, transforming beverages into ice-cream is just sooo special. I think most of you have already tried out nitrogen ice-cream. Usually I eat it in lab made. this time I tired out Ice-pop. unlike the other shop, there are seats where you can settle down and enjoy your ice-cream with friends.
unusal taste is always the selling point of nitrogen ice-cream, transforming beverages into ice-cream is just sooo special.
I have chosen milk tea-with taiwaness "pearl" and green apple.
milk tea with "pearl" (in case you dont know, thoose pearl are chewy gum like jelly), milk tea is made with Earl gret tea which is much better than other shop as Earl grey smells good! and the mixture of pearl just add more texture to the ice-cream. (however, the numbers of pearl is around 5-6 which it too little and I preferr to have more of these pearl.
also, the milk tea taste abit pale, I thinkk it is due to the freezing process, as it was frozen to ice-cream, it taste pale.. overall, it doesn't taste much like the local taiwaness milk tea as the numbers of peral it too little and tea type is different from what you usaully get in Taiwan.
Green apple.... I was shock by the alien green syrup on top, the color is obviously artifical coloring... and It just doesn't fit the ice-cream itself.
green apple lacks of the sourness and refreshing taste.
and I think the Ice-cream is over-cooled by the liquid nitrogen as it doesn't taste smooth and silky but rather like ice
overall: I think Lab made is a better one, as you can still taste the milk in ice-cream and the texture is better.
but Ice-pop provide more choice and I think the idea of having a taiwaness milk tea is quite good as HK people love milk tea
