有一个星期一的下午，我和NK在结志街附近漫无目的的闲逛，逛来逛去在街市的一旁见到了一家毫不起眼的cafe，便走了进去。原来是一家面积颇细的咖啡店。但老土的一句，麻雀虽小，五脏俱全，而且冻柜内的甜点蛋糕很吸引，再加上有我好奇的窝夫及香浓的咖啡香，我便决定一定要光顾！One weekday afternoon NK and I were wandering around Gage Street and then we spotted a cafe tucked away in the wet market on Gage Street. Cappuccino & Mocha - 先来的是咖啡，我选了cappuccino，NK点了mocha。很大的一杯。Cappuccino有非常简单的拉花，很有咖啡香。入口很滑很好喝。Mocha面头则洒满了朱古力粉，朱古力味不会太重，与咖啡味配合得很好。每杯咖啡都会附上biscotti一件，biscotti不太甜，颇好吃。Cappuccino & Mocha - Coffee arrived first. Cappuccino for me, mocha for NK. They were of quite a large size. A simple heart on top of my cappuccino. Its coffee aroma was strong. Simple and good. As to the mocha, there was chocolate powder on it. The chocolate taste was about right, not overpowering the coffee taste. Each coffee came with a piece of biscotti which was surprisingly good without being too sweet.
Lemon Meringue Tart - 我们在众多的甜点中点了lemon meringue tart，因为外形很美。Lemon Meringue Tart - We picked lemon meringue tart as it looked really pretty.
整件tart都与我们的预期一样，一点都不甜，很清新。不过，meringue好像有一点"太不甜"，变得有一点淡味。柠檬filling幼滑，柠檬味挺浓也不会有加工的感觉。tart皮很薄，略嫌不太脆，但也好吃。As we expected, the tart was light and not sweet at all. As much as it was refreshing, the meringue was a bit blend. The lemon filling was smooth and the lemon taste was strong and not artificial. The crust was very thin, not too flaky but good enough.
Freshly Made Waffle with Gelato - 另一食品是Waffle。可以见到是很简单的一碟，有别于现在在外面很流行的大堆头waffle。下午茶餐的份量为半份waffle，不知道散叫的话是否会有一整份。Waffle上是gelato，吃上来就是朱古力味挺浓的雪糕。Waffle是新鲜焗制，边沿及面头坑纹的部分是脆的，中间的部分则烟韧而口感十足，很好吃！Freshly Made Waffle with Gelato - Another item for us was the waffle. It was a simple dish, very much going against the recent trend of having a plate of waffles with large amount of fruits and ice cream elsewhere. For tea set, they only served half portion of the waffle and we suspected they would serve a whole waffle for a la carte menu. On the waffle lied the chocolate gelato. The waffle was freshly made and the sides were crunchy while the middle was chewy. It was really delicious!
这里的咖啡及甜点水准都很高，而且价钱合理。下次来会点一整份的waffle！We were happy to find high quality of food and coffee at a reasonable price here. Next time I would definitely go for a whole waffle!
