My boss has been saying this restaurant is a must-try for months, finally paid a visit for my birthday celebration yesterday.I had the Hokkai-don, and was totally loving it!! you can tell the food is awesome just by its look! Just take a look at the uni, the colour and the taste just take my breathe away! I am always a big fan of Jap food and so far i think it's the second best of my list. (the best is 湖舟 just a couple blocks away)Just a little flaw that the waiter who's with a Jap face asked

Just a little flaw that the waiter who's with a Jap face asked me twice if i would pick Udon or Soba, I picked the latter but somehow udon was served! is it some kind of joke?
The coffee is a bit disappointing as well which i found it bitter...nevertheless, HIRO is still a great restaurant not to be missed - 2 thumbs up!!
