After eating at the restaurant across the street, I passed by this desserts place which looked interesting. After studying the menu, I decided to order some to take home as I was still feeling full after the dinner. I ordered "yee Mai" and "mango zi Mai lo" which were quite traditional but then I noticed something called "mango cheong fan". The staff assured me it was a dessert. So I said I would like to try it.

The Yee Mai was quite standard, so can't comment too much about it. The zi Mai lo was good, not too sweet which is just how I like my desserts. The cheong fan really looked like the dim sum dish, with mangoes wrapped in a white skin and even some green bits on top to imitate chopped spring onions, I assume. Very innovative and again just the level of sweetness I like.

I will come back to try other things on the menu.
