After eating at the restaurant across the street, I passed by this desserts place which looked interesting. After studying the menu, I decided to order some to take home as I was still feeling full after the dinner. I ordered "yee Mai" and "mango zi Mai lo" which were quite traditional but then I noticed something called "mango cheong fan". The staff assured me it was a dessert. The Yee Mai was quite standard, so can't comment too much about it. The zi Mai lo was good, not too sweet which is just how I like my desserts. The cheong fan really looked like the dim sum dish, with mangoes wrapped in a white skin and even some green bits on top to imitate chopped spring onions, I assume. Very innovative and again just the level of sweetness I like.
I will come back to try other things on the menu.
