Was having a late lunch and found out that this place was serving afternoon tea sets from 2pm - perfect! Unlike the lunch peak hours there was no queue at the front, but I did have to share a table as the restaurant was still quite full. After being seated what caught my attention were the pictures on the walls and menus which featured Ironman and Nick Ferry from the Avengers (imitation by local artists). Surprisingly the Chinese guy (I think his name is Eric Kwok) does look like Robert Downey

The afternoon tea set menu offered quite a few choices, with lower prices vs. the normal menu and came with a free drink or soup. After looking through the menu (which showed the pictures of the food items) I decided to go for the "Wet-fried flat rice noodles with shredded beef in Swiss sauce" (as written on the menu). In Chinese it also mentioned "New Zealand beef".
There was a bottle of water on the table with empty cups for you to serve yourself, which was quite convenient. Cutleries and serviettes were also self served from the table drawer. It only took a few minutes for my noodles to arrive. Compared to the picture on the menu, the dish looked a bit less tiny, but as expected from a cha chaan teng. The noodles were soft but not soggy, and blended well in the sweet sauce. There were a few large pieces of shredded beef (good source of iron!) which tasted meaty and flavoursome (although slightly on the tough side).
The drink I had was a hot sour plum tea, which had a strange taste (being sweet, sour and bitter). Overall a quick and satisfying meal.
