It used to be a great place for work

Before the place turned to Morrison Cafe & Bar (when it was Cafe O), it was cosy, neat, and simple - a great place to work for self-employed people like myself. I used to see many others like me studying / working in different tables. However after it was rebranded, I feel like the place lost its charm. Leaving everything else the same, they painted the mirror into something half-hippie and placed a bar and an array of drinks on where they used to have the kitchen only. Worst thing is - I feel l

Before the place turned to Morrison Cafe & Bar (when it was Cafe O), it was cosy, neat, and simple - a great place to work for self-employed people like myself. I used to see many others like me studying / working in different tables. However after it was rebranded, I feel like the place lost its charm. Leaving everything else the same, they painted the mirror into something half-hippie and placed a bar and an array of drinks on where they used to have the kitchen only. Worst thing is - I feel like they no longer have tolerance for people like myself. I ordered my coffee and started working on my laptop, and it hasn't even been an hour and a staff member came up to me telling me to order more if I'm gonna stay for longer. I would understand it if the restaurant was busy (which was not the case at all) or if I've stayed for 3 hours or so - which would be completely unreasonable having bought a single cup of coffee - but it was slightly difficult to understand the rude and accusing manner in which she brought it up. I still do like working in the place so I asked for the menu and tried to order, and she told me that I have to go back down at the cashier to order more stuff (which was never the case when I used to go there regularly). I could not be bothered to go all the way down the stairs to order and come back up so I decided to leave. There goes my last visit ever to this bar. Unfortunate.
