My friend and I went to an italian restaurant called ''Basilico'' located in 9/F, Circle Tower, 28 Tang Lung Street, Causeway Bay (铜锣湾登龙街28号永光中心9楼).You can see a cocktail bar once you walk into the restaurant.The whole restaurant is decorated in warm wooden theme by paving wood floor, pairing wooden tables with dark brown leather chairs.''Salmone Affumicato'' (Smoked Salmon Pizza) 烟三文鱼薄饼 HKD$169Mozzarella cheese, onion asparagus capers, rockets...and of course the hero of the dish-smoked salmon

Mozzarella cheese, onion asparagus capers, rockets...and of course the hero of the dish-smoked salmon are set on top of the superrrrrrr crisp thin crust.Yummmmm.
It will be even better if more cheese is added.
''Seafood Marinara'' 意大利蕃茄酱海鲜意粉 HKD$189
Spaghetti in marinara sauce (a classic Italian tomato sauce made with tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and onions...etc) with clams, squid, salmon, tuna and mussels.
The sauce has a nice natural tartness. Very delectable.
It will be perfect if the spaghetti is cooked with a shorter period of time.
Various cocktails are provided.
Strawberry Smoothies (草莓奶昔) HKD$88
It composes Rum, strawberry syrup and whip cream.
As I request small amount of syrup ,the bartender cleverly and creatively substitutes the bloody sweet syrup with creamy rich coconut milk.
It comes out with a very refresh, bright, subtle coconut aromatic flavour and a silky smooth texture. Niceeeeeeee!!
But the price of this drink is bit higher than that of other restaurants.
Reds, whites, sparklings and whiskeys from France, Italy, Australia, Chile, Argentina are also provided.
House Red
Hipi S. Blanc (New Zealand) 2014 HKD$66 /glass HKD$178/ 750ml bottle
It is a Pinot Noir from the Hawke's Bay.
Alc 13.5%. Young wine is made in 2014.
Possesses typical Pinot Noir characteristics which is subtle, elegant and relatively mild
The waiter is very nice and friendly.Great service!!!
In general,the prices of the food and cocktails are little bit higher than similar restaurants.
