It was always hard to find seats to sit down for lunch at Kwun Tong as it was always fully packed with people. Today i walked along Shing Yip Street and was attracted by their banner outside the factory entrance. Their lunch menu was fairly reasonable, ranging from $48 to $88. It cames with a bowl of salad and if i dine in after 2pm, one pudding or drinks will be provided free of charge. There is no service charge as well. Grilled eel rice - It was served in a big bowl, with a big slice of eel and 2 pieces of tamgo in it. Tamago was very soft and sweet. Eel was grilled till crispy outside, yet was still very soft. It mixed well with the rice.
Fruit drink - Fruit slices were provided inside the sparkling syrup drink. It was sweet and refreshing, perfect in this weather. Those fruits were fresh as well.
