Green tea I thought it was he best. Rich in green tea flavour but not like other ice cream or gelato it wasn't bitter. It was creamy, very smooth and not as sweet but has a slight milky taste. I LOVED IT. Plus the colour was a medium green, unlike other brands, the green is dark green. Majority of people ordered green tea as i heard.
Black sesame This tasted like sesame paste but not as sweet. Probably the reason why we chose it. I hate ice cream which is OVERLY sweet and cream at same time. It was refreshing but compare to Green tea, the black sesame is not as good.
I also tried these following flavours:
Soy milk: Tasted exactly like eating TOFU! It wasnt tasty, was kinda boring tofu taste.
Milk: I expected it to be like Hokkaido milk taste, but tasted like normal milk. It was too sweet for me
White Chocolate I quite like this flavour. It was a light white choc taste but again, too sweet and heavy
Caramel coffee This was more refreshing than the other flavours. As coffee tends to be more on bitter side, not as sweet. With a tint of caramel taste.
Cheese This is another that seem really real. I actually thought i was eating real cheese for a moment. But It was too strange to order cheese ice cream.
Services There was atleast 5 young girls wearing uniform behind counter. Some was by the side chatting, only 1 or 2 serving. Asking would you like to tr. As this is new shop, alot of people trying to try. Including us 2 there was another 8 people ATLEAST pushing to try. All calling out. It was be logical for all the girls to come to counter to serve as there is massive demand. But instead only 1 girl serving all these people. Other girls standing by sie chatting or staring. Then that 1 girl serving would leave and chat while another girl come and take her place. I tasted 6 or 7 flavours, took us about 15mins. Then you would occasionally see 1 girl standing at side come over took a spoon of ice cream and eat it then walk back to the side again. I don't know how they got trained up, but spooning and eating it yourself when there is a massive queue is not an appropriate service. Plus where si the the team spirit? Why is there only one person serving a whole bunch of people. After tasting, you could not order from there like usual, you need go to the billing counter and queue up again which took another 5 mins as people keep going back to counter and point which one they like or taste them again. Not effecient enough. After ordering they gave you receipt wth number and you neeed to wait for them to call out your number. We couldnt even hear them calling out, and they have no smile at all. They all looked like they were hating this place
Overal: It was doing promotion maybe because it is newly open. $30 for 1 scoop, $35 for 2 scoop. When tasting the ice cream, I actually thought it no different from other i have tasted and have actually tasted better like Milk Top for better bargain. But as it was newly open and japanese ice cream I thought it be healthy and be better. So for $35 I chose two flavours. But it was actually too sweet, and I did not expect japanese to amke their food over sweet. If wsnt for this promotion I think it is too expensive. i liked their image, all white with silver. Very simple. I loved the interior, was clean and spacious. But I dont think i would return again.
