We waited for the doors to be open at 11:30am as we were afraid of the long queue that would start forming on weekends. Sure enough, the small minimalistic coffee shop started to get pretty full after just a while, so maybe it’s a better idea to visit their other bigger branches instead. The salmon ochazuke came on a wooden tray with a small dish of wood ear mushrooms as an appetizer. The corn, seawood, salmon, katsuobushi (bonito flakes) and rice were soaked in a flavorful broth, effectively enhancing the simple ingredients. Although it was not super fulfilling, the portion was definitely reasonable to its price.

We added $20 for special beverages on the menu. The black sesame and tofu milkshake was a little too mild, although we could taste hints of sesame and even slurp up bits of slippery tofu.
