La Creperie finally opened its new branch in Sheung Wan. The manager in Wanchai told us they were working on this new project and we decided to go check it out with my friend last Friday lunch. This new restaurant is on the ground floor, it looks much bigger than the wanchai restaurant. The ceiling is high and it seems to be less crowded than in Wanchai, which is very good.We had the set lunch with La Complete (ham, cheese and egg), the salted butter caramel for desert and my friend ate the dail
This new restaurant is on the ground floor, it looks much bigger than the wanchai restaurant. The ceiling is high and it seems to be less crowded than in Wanchai, which is very good.
We had the set lunch with La Complete (ham, cheese and egg), the salted butter caramel for desert and my friend ate the daily special with leek, cheese and bacon and the apple and caramel.
We were very happy because the taste was very good, just like in Wanchai. La Creperie maintains the quality of its food over the years, which is not always the case in Hong Kong.
The service was very good as well.The French Manager in his mid 40's was very pleasant and informative. The other waitress were less informative but smiling.
At 12h30 the restaurant was full so we asked for the bill. It is good sign for La Creperie's business. But remember to come early if you don't want to wait for seats.
We will try next time for diner. The decoration was really nice, same theme like wanchai but brighter and more colors. Perfect for a good diner with friends.

By the way, they do accept credit cards now (visa and Master)
