I had been looking forward to trying out the cakes at Passion. The cakes lived up to their reputation, but the service was terrible. There were people waiting to be served (including me) but although there were several people behind the counter, they avoided eye contact with anyone. I was at the cashier with a bag of their bread at the cashier wanting to pay fo this and a cake and pastries, but both of the staff ignored me, doing their own things. I was carrying a baby and it was a long wait. Wh
The most unbelievable part was the way they packed cakes to go. I asked for a chocolate cake to go (and other pastries). I did not see the packing process. They put all the items in a big carrier bag and handed it to me. When I got home, I discovered they had put the cake in a paper bag, which had stuck to the sides of the cake! This was a wholly ridiculous way to pack a cake with a moist surface. See photo.
