If you think this is a great place for teppanyaki, this must be your first. This place does not deserve the Openrice reviews!First of all, teppanyaki is all about the experience. First of all, teppanyaki is all about the experience. This place offered no such thing. The chef would chat to his colleagues and have a good laugh while cooking in front of customers. Not to mention that his techniques are subpar. The service was poor and it took more than 40 minutes for the chef to prepare each course (and there were five courses in total). That was why I had so much time to type up this commentary. The diners at the teppanyaki table also looked really bored.
Next, let’s talk about the quality of the food. We ordered the Geoduck set for two people (worth HK$2,688 + 10%), which included foie gras. The foie gras that I had was worse than what I could expect at a buffet. Sure, it was big, but it had no foie gras taste and the texture was rough.
Overall, based on experience and quality of food, this meal was extremely low value for money. I do NOT recommend anyone to dine here, especially if you are planning on coming here for a special occasion.
