First time traveling to Sai Ying Pun for lunch. It was quite a bit rush for me as I only have 1 hour lunch. Walking all the way uphill from MTR station under the sun was exhausting. Eventually I AM HERE! Looking at the lunch set menu, there were quite a number of attractive options, like the rib eye steak, chicken cordon bleu, beef stew and so on! Walking all the way uphill from MTR station under the sun was exhausting. Eventually I AM HERE! Looking at the lunch set menu, there were quite a number of attractive options, like the rib eye steak, chicken cordon bleu, beef stew and so on! Quickly glanced through the menu and placed my order.
The set came with a Thai shrimp salad.
The portion was comparatively a bit bigger than the other restaurants. There was mixed green with some shrimps. The Thai sauce has a bit our sour taste and it was appetizing.
Here come the main course - rib eye steak!
The rib eye steak is served with a roasted potato. The waitress came and served the mustard, with a choice of English or French mustard. Quickly I dig into the main and the rib eye steak was medium rare and quite juicy.
Finish with a cheesecake cheered me up.
After the dessert, the iced lemon tea came. As I had to rush back to work, I asked for a takeaway for the drink. It was a bit of disappointment that the takeaway cup did not come with a lid! It was not any good for people in a rush and needed to walk down slope or stairs.
