At the quiet 6th level of iSquare was this unassuming restaurant. More street style but very much like the Japanese versions. They have ample seating inside. Ordering for those uncertain to step inside, was very simple. The board made it simple. Just give the number and you were set to go. We had plain udon with soy sauce base soup. From the counter, by taking another plate, you can choose an array of tempura or sushi, depending on what’s available for an extra cost. There were sauces and condiments as required. All self-service.
This particular day, we had salmon rice triangles and sweet tofu rice. The soy sauce based soup was quite flavoursome with the chunky udon which can be floury in flavour. It wasn’t very expensive to eat here and no service charge.
I would highly recommend for a quick lunch or even dinner. A light meal but substantial.
Will come back again.
