Went to give it a try for their festive lunch meal, the price was set at a rather reasonable price on Christmas Eve, 888 per person plus 10% service charge. The service was satisfactory yet some distance from exceptional. The environment was alright, a bit less spacious than I expected but overall it’s neat and modern. The lighting was also comfortably set.The bread tray was more than what I expected, some short baguettes and croissants with a house-made chilli jam which were absolutely perfect

The bread tray was more than what I expected, some short baguettes and croissants with a house-made chilli jam which were absolutely perfect for a start of the meal.
A tiny crispy potato appetiser started our lunch. It’s small but surprisingly flavourful with the smokiness from the paramasalata and smoked fish roes.
Then it was a scallop dish with skits of black truffle and crispy Jerusalem artichoke. This was not my cup of tea as the artichoke flavour was a bit too overwhelming, it completely overshadowed the freshness and sweetness of the scallop and truffles.
After the slight disappointment, they had a fantastic come back with this diced hokkigai starter. A spot on balance between the savouriness of the shellfish and the acidity of the grenobloise. Accompanied by the crispy crumbs and the fresh herbs. This was the most satisfying starter of the meal.
Due to some servicing errors, they presented us with a cup of mushroom chowder. The texture was truly creamy and silky. With a certain richness of the mushroom.
Up next was the pigeon and the tenderloin, this was the highlight of the meal. The texture and flavour of the protein was executed beautifully. The sauces elevated the dish and showcased how finesse the meat was.
The meal ended with a slightly disappointed chocolate tart.
The overall experience was satisfying. It’s a fun attempt but it won’t really convince me to take another shot.
