Think about a cozy place to lunch is not easy in North Point. This restaurant at a rather secluded location is a good choice ! It's located at the back of Causeway Bay Wet Market, along a private street with a bright entrance. I'd read the reviews in Open Rice and got some ideas on what kind of food to order. First thing served was squid ink bread. Though it's a bit salty but it's hot !
I had a green salad with some aloe on top. Not much salad sauce but the fresh vegetables and aloe helped start my appetite.
Main course was clam risotto with cream source. The clams were juicy and fresh. Unlike most risotto with a lot of sauce which made you easily full, this risotto was tasty and not sticky ! If just a little bit more cream sauce, the whole dish could be more melted together !
What impressed me most and made my lunch with no regrets was the creme burlee.
The first bite told me I must come back again ! The taste of ginger magically matched with the creme burlee. It's so smooth and delicious that no one could forget.
Another dessert was carrot cake with cream and fruits. Wah, the sweetness of the cake was just right !
Lastly, the coffee was good too.
Highly recommended for lunch.
