I ate at Frites in Quarry Bay and Wan Chai before and the food was tasty. This was my first time having lunch at the Central branch. It is near the Sheung Wan MTR Exit A.The must order dish is their House Mussels. I love the creamy sauce and the mussels were so smooth and fresh. The choices of set lunch are not my favourite so I picked the seafood linguine in the a la cart menu. The presentation of the linguine looked good but the mussels were not cooked throughly. I ate one and it was so raw. My friend also ate one and it was not cooked throughly too. So we asked the waitress to give us another plate of linguine with cooked mussels. The second plate was ok. The linguine mixed well with the creamy sauce. The shrimps were fresh.
The price is expensive but the quality is ok and the environment is nice.
