Came here for a quick lunch as I was waiting for boyfriend and our friends to arrive so we could go to the annual Asia Contemporary Art Show at the Conrad. I was thinking of just grabbing a sandwich when I saw new items! Mac n Cheese! There are two versions: Kale and cauliflower and Prosciutto. They are $40 each. I chose prosciutto. There are two versions: Kale and cauliflower and Prosciutto. They are $40 each. I chose prosciutto. It was packed in a small square cardboard box and was fairly hot. Peeling open the lid, there wasn't a lot in there. It was more of a small size portion. The macaroni used were the big size kind instead of the usual smaller macaroni that is more familiar. There was also cauliflower added to this which was a bit surprising but I like cauliflower. Prosciutto was a bit hard from being baked. The cheese was a very strong cheddar. I assume they used a more mature kind. Something I like as I like strong cheeses and a breath of fresh air as most cheeses here are either flavorless or mild. Unsure if this would be ok for the majority of Hong Kong as more milder cheeses are used in restaurants here. I liked this mac n cheese. Though portion size was a bit smaller than I had expected. I think it would be a more complete meal if you add a soup or one of their awesome yogurt cups. But just this small portion of mac n cheese was clearly not enough.
