Tried Fauchon in Paris last year and although they weren't overly impressive - they were actually still above average. The HK Airport stall which I have tried were also decent.Come the CWB Jasons Place Fauchon - at the beginning all friends were saying the Macarons are unfresh and crunchy!! I waited a few months before trying it recently and sorry to say.... They were really dry and hard. On the positive side the Pistachio one had a good toasty pistachio taste.
