Just when I thought coffee couldn’t get better, I tried the Macchiato at Blue Bottle. It’s a perfect little cup of strong espresso mellowed with just the right amount of foamed milk. What I love is the strength of the coffee, which is potent and rich, yet the milk softens it just enough to make it incredibly smooth. It’s a small drink but exactly what you need when you want something strong but comforting.
