Taiwanese style sponge cake has raised its popularity in the city recently. This takeaway shop however serves sponge 🧽 cake in Malaysia style which is very different! I decided to give it a try and see how it tastes. the shop is located in the new residential area of Kai duk, a lot of shops have been opened recently in this area due to the new mtr line!  I decided to try their traditional sponge cake and also the salted egg version which they recommended.

 wow it looks super yummy and delicious 🤤 the staffs reminded me to heat for a min before having it - it definitely tasted heavenly especially when it does with a cup of coffee!

 normal sponge cake always tasted amazing! More a settle flavor but also goes well with a cup of coffee / tea ☕️

 overall, definitely have to pay a visit when you’re around this area or can buy it when you visit a friend who lives around this area!
