I have been wanting to get to an Outback Steakhouse for a while and had the opportunity recently. the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly except for the waiter that gave me the bill (didn't say anything and no eye contact when bringing me the bill or returning the receipt). Three us ate, and the food was a little below average when compared to the price. in particular, the ribs were small and dry with no sauce and the lamb chops were dry with a tiny amount of gravy in a little pot.
One of my buffet complaints though is the reward scheme. Customers want accumulate rewards immediately for an expensive meal, however, after going through the lengthy installation and set up, they inform you that registration takes 24 hours. This is awful when compared to most restaurants which offer a reward programme as soon as you sign up. It felt like a scan to get me to sign up but didn't give me anything in return for signing up and eating an over priced below average meal.
