I’ve been to this place few times because it’s located near my gym. Although the staffs are super nice, and the environment is pretty chill & comfy, I must say their food & coffee is totally overpriced for the quality of them.For example, this AVOCADO & SMOKED SALMON TARTINE is $128 and the taste is very bland and dull. For example, this AVOCADO & SMOKED SALMON TARTINE is $128 and the taste is very bland and dull. It totally needs more seasoning. Also, though the portion is reasonable, i think guys might think this is not filling enough. The bread itself is alright, dough’s pretty soft and still have a hard crunch outside. It’s nothing amazing tho.
And the coffee is even more disappointing I’m a coffee junkie, so I have pretty high standards for coffee. Their cappuccino is VERY watery and just bland bland bland. Not acidic, not bitter, not fruity, just bland & tasteless. $38 is not too pricey for a Cap, but still… I expected better.
Overall, this place is very meh -- it's not a must try.
p.s. they also have 10% service charge, just FYI.
