The nickname 月饼杀手 was named by my ex-colleague many years ago (how many, probably since 2002 while I was still working in CSFB). Hey, most of you may not know what is CSFB but CS, right!? Hahaha, I am old to most of you. My ex-boss gave me a box of Grand Hyatt mooncake. He said 半岛 mooncake was reserved for their Mainland customers. So, the best he can give to me is Grand Hyatt. Before opening it, I though it was lotus paste filled mooncake. OMG, it isn't. I am a traditional mooncake eater and I prefer filling like louts paste, red bean, and five Kerl (五仁).
It's not Grand Hyatt's problem, simply my personal reason. Sorry, I can't enjoy this milk custard base mooncake.
Although that box of mooncakes was finished by my family, I still don't under why people like milk custard filling instead of traditional filling?
As a traditional mooncake fans, I don't want to see the disapperance of lotus paste mooncake!!!!!
