Went there with my wife for birthday dinner on 25th of September. Got a call in advance if I want to buy a birthday cake, I rejected that.The dinner was the most disappointing birthday experience for 10+ years.Food: i returned the bone marrow as it was completely overloaded with caramelised onion which overloaded the entire bone marrow taste.The other food was ok but not worth the cost of the establishment. The other food was ok but not worth the cost of the establishment. Compared to other top steak houses the quality and preparation lacks unfortunately quite behind.
I expressed at the end that it was a disappointing experience with the feedback of staff that they hope next time it will be better. There won‘t be a next time as there are significant better too notch steak houses in HK at the similar price level.
Only after we left it crossed my mind that despite the fact that I mentioned at the time of booking that this is a special occasion, nobody bothered to wish a happy birthday - this has been very different to previous years and I regret that we spent our money and time there.
